Shoudln't his signature end with an upward pen stroke ? (or at least a pen stroke which is aimed to the right at a higher angle). I am not an expert but the final part of that signature in particular looks very different to other examples I have seen.

How much is the guy asking? Maybe you'll have better luck with getting answer here like;
"too high",
"about right", or
"great deal"

....just a thought.

I'm waiting on a price from him, so was hoping to get a rough idea in advance so I don't pay too much...assuming, of course, it is a genuine signature.

I think the first thing is to decide whether or not you think it's genuine. I am not an expert but I would not spend any money on this one - I would give this one a miss.

There are some real experts on here (in particular the user Maxhistory) who are very familiar with H.H signatures and can give you a more informed opinion.

One thing I would say is that H.H. signatures are not extremely rare so if you do pass on this one another will be on the market in no time.
