I have this postcard, some NSDAP men and an SS mann, the rest are wearing either iron crosses or party badges,some together, does anyone recognise any of them?, some seem vaguely familiar, but i could be very wrong, dated 1933, Sean

Hi Sean,
Very interesting post card you have, the like of which I have not seen before. As you said, some of the faces in the gathering look vaguely familiar to me, as well, but the one standing in the back row, sixth from left, looks quite like Arthur Seyss-Inquart. That's the only face I can put a name on.
In 1933 Seyss-Inquart became a member of the Cabinet of Chancellor Engelbert Dollfuss, so the other people in the photo may be members of the Austrian government at that time. I don't see Dollfuss among the faces in the photo... As you know, Dollfuss was murdered in 1934 as a result of an attempted coup.
I look forward to reading other comments; hopefully other readers will recognize some of the faces in your glimpse of history.
