This is what the new book Combat Operations Of The German Ordungspolizei 1939-1945 by Rolf Michaelis (ISBN: 978-0-7643-3659-1) has to say on Polizei Rgt 23. Although the book doesn't mention the unit being active during the 1944 Warsaw Uprising I have a Dienstpass to a member of III/Pol.Rgt 23 that confirms that they were involved. The book mentions that the III Btl were employed as guards at the labour camp at Auschwitz but there is nothing in the Dienstpass that provides any proof of this. Maybe another member could shed any light on, or dispel, that.
Also note that the FpNr Number at the top of the slip you show matches the one given for the III Btl shown at the bottom of the page.

Pol.Btl 307 became the I Btl of SS-Pol.Rgt 23 rather than the III Btl that the man on your slip served in.
