Although not original (it comes from the Archives of Canada) this is probably the best photo of Rommel I have ever seen.

It's been in my photos folder for about 20 years. I had forgotten about it. When i found it, I put it up for sale in the Bazaar but changed my mind just before I got a few offers to buy it.

Otherwise, I would have been in another "Has this ever happened to you?" situation.

Bernie, I will agree with you, that is the best pic of Rommel I have ever seen as well, and I had never seen it before until today. I am guessing this is a Spring 1944 pic--although it looks posed, it probably is a candid.
