            Hi,

Large dark brown wooden frame, 104 x 86 cm, frame width 10 cm and 5 cm thick, photo coasters (visible 57 x 40 cm) lined with embossed white canopy.

            thanks a lot

Thanks, sounds good. From the foto it looks really small (like 20x30cm), and those posters came only in bigger sizes.

Print looks good, also the framing, the kind of period paper-tape, and stamp looks ok.

              What is the price?

The stamp on the back is from: "Der Landrat im Saulgau - Wirtschaftsamt"

I think the stamp is Ok.

                    hmmm I'm sceptical:
Why would der Landrat frame a poster? An official Hoffman photo ok, but a poster?
And why the big passepartout for a poster?
The "old" paper to seal the frame on the back is still for sale, as are stamps...

I think one should really have the poster in hand to judge...

Of course he has not framed it - its a mark of property. Those posters have to be shown in public places and offices, by law.

Why not let it framed? Should they pin it to the wall like todays teenagers their Justin Beaver posters?

As a rule.... don't "ink stamps" in strange places, make us suspicious?
But if Gerdan thinks it's not out of place, then he's probably right.
