    Ribbon bar in a photo

Can anyone say me what this soldier has been awarded, first three are EK II, KVK II with Swords and Ostmedaille and last two could be West Wall and Ostvolk II with Swords.

    Thanks

4th is a noncombatant's Hindenburg Cross for WW1, then the 1919 Baltic Cross. The next to the last one I can't be sure of*, and the final one with swords is under the ink stamp so I can't tell.

      * From his buttonhole I'd wager that ribbon is the German LIFESAVING Medal, from the shade. An Ostvolk would be darker (green) than the tawny yellow-orange of the Lifesaving Medal, which COULD be worn from the buttonhole. I suspect it may ALSO be the Lifesaving Medal ribbon in next to last place on his ribbon bar.

Acording to his Soldbuch this soldier received the West Wall medal, EK II, Kriegsmedaille Milit. Tügend? Klasse II, EK I, IABiS, Ostmedaille, KVK II with X, TDB and Ostvolk Decoration in Silver II class with swords. He was born in 1.900 so he can be qualificated for a Hindemburg Cross.

          Thanks Rick and Ian

"Kriegsmedaille Milit. Tügend" must be something Rumanian, so that would be in last place. Westwall next to last.

No mention of his BALTIC CROSS? Because that is what he's got after the Hindenburg.

You think that buttonhole ribbon looks "green?" Yeahhhhhh, OhhhhhhhK!

I don't think it looks like a Rettungsmedaille.......Angel confirmed the Ostvolker at least!!!
Let me find my Rettungs for comparison.....

No mention of WW I service and/or medals neither from post WW I. I know he was promoted to Gefrieter on October 10th, 1.919 and to Unteroffizier on December 9th, 1.919, next Felwebel on August 1st, 1.939 and his Soldbuch was open on August 26th, 1.939, his profesion was in the meantime..........music.
