    Wolfsschanze Pictures?

    Hi Folks,

today 23 pictures of the "Führerhaupquartier" Wolfsschanze have been offered to me.
They show Hitler, Goering, Mussolini and others standing in front of some barracks and in front of a big map.

But i´m not sure if they are original. The seller said they are from a former "Kriegsberichterstatter".
The pictures are printed on AGFA Brovira paper.

So has anybody a homepage or anything that shows most of the common pictures from the Wolfsschanze? So i couldcheck if the pictures that i could buy are still released or not.

    Thank you

PS: I hope you understand what my quastion is, my english isnt the best

    Hi Sven!

    No problem with your English!

I have no interest in Wolfsschantze pictures, so can't say anything related to their rarity, but...

If the photographs are richly detailed and if you think the motifs are good, you won't regret a lot I think.

I think whether they have been published or not makes little difference regarding photos from famous places like Wolfsschantze. The quality of the photographs themselves is most important.

Agfa Brovira papers were usually used for enlargement. I usually like contact prints more, because enlarged pictures made by poor printer can be very bad while contact prints usually have high standards --- this is why I like 6x6 (or larger) contact prints. Contact prints from 35mm films are too small.

      Thank you Akira!

I´ve been on the show in Stuttgart today and i looked at every book they had about the Wolfsschanze. The pictures were often the same, but the one i´m looking forward to buy, weren´t in these books.

So i guess i will buy them.
