This is from Lexicon der Wehrmacht

"Divisions-Bataillon 268

Aufgestellt am 11. Februar 1943 aus Teilen des Grenadier-Regiments 468 und der Radfahr-Schwadron 268. Am 26. Juli 1943 in
Füsilier-Bataillon 268 umbenannt und am 2. November 1943 aufgelöst.

Ersatztruppenteil war das Grenadier-Ersatz-Bataillon 468."


Aufkl. Schwd = Aufklärungs Schwadron

Set up from part of Gren.Rgt 468 and Radf. Schwd.268. On 26 julz 1943 renamed Fus. Btl.268 and disbanded on 2 nov 1943.
