Not sure if this is the right forum for this...

I'm curious if anyone has an opinion on the authenticity of this piece?

The paper seems to be aged and the lettering seems accurate but due to the subject matter I want to see if anyone has any questions about authenticity?

Not sure about authenticity. The center of the paper does not look very old, contrary to the edges. A great piece of history if original. The request by the Mayor of Champigny (not too far from Paris) for all jews to register at the town hall. A few years later the French authorities in Paris, the French police, will round up many of these people and will ship them to death camps. A sad part of France's history.

Not sure if this is the same person, but in my research, I came across this frontpage article from 1930 about a scandal involving a Gaston Chardin in Paris. Interesting.
