German or English Flying maps

Not sure if this is the right place but its paper and docs so here goes. Years ago my brother bought a house from a Ex Spitfire fighter pilot who had sadly passed away. Under the stairs he had left these maps. They are of the UK and dated 1941. The maps are of the UK with both English and German writing. here are a few pics that I have taken quickly for reference, I will get more pics at the weekend in natural light. Any information would be great

I believe they are German prints of British Ordanance survey maps.
