SS Polizei sporting event in Norway

I picked up a set of pictures of an SS Polizei group at a sporting event in Norway and was hoping some people may be able to answer some questions relating to them

    Photo A )

Does anyone know the location & info about this building ?
( I believe it may be in either Hemsedal, Ullensvang or Vikersund).

Would it be possible to identify any of these men present at the SS Polizei Sporting event Norway (the name Karl Pfeffer-Wildenbruch SS Obergruppenführer - Polizei-Division Kommandeur der Südfront in Russland Anfang 1944 IX. Mountain-SS Corps was mentioned but I am not sure - hoping anyone can confirm )

This was one of the ancillary pictures included - can anyone identify the shoulder patch on the man at the centre ? OR confirm the uniform/helmets worn by the other men ?

          Photo E)

          Thanks for checking.

The tall officer in the center of pic #4 is police general August Meyzsner who at that time was BdO (Befehlshaber der Ordnungspolizei) in Norway. This is probably winter 1940/41, but I will check for sure. The officer to his left is a member of the SD in Norway, looks like a Hauptsturmfuhrer. The event was a ski competition that was held during the Nazi occupation. The man in pic #3 is indeed a member of the Foreign Service, perhaps on Terboven's staff.

The building in pics #1 and #2 appear to be the HQ of one of the occupying police units in Norway. The guards are police troopers and they appear to be wearing either Ski caps or M43 Feldmutzen.

In Pic #6, the man in the middle is a Schupo NCO (that is a police sleeve eagle on his arm) horsing around with a group of trainees of one of the Ausbildungs-Btl. that were raised in 1939/1940 for future service in the each. The other trainees were equipped with older Prussian police tunics and captured Czech helmets with the police insignia applied to them.

              Hello!
The man in glasses on pic #3 is TERBOVEN JOSEF (see his sleeve rank insignia)!
              Nice Photos!

                Skeikampen

The photos are from Skeikampen in Norway.

This was, before, during and is today a popular recreational area for skiing. The photos you are showing are possible to date,.

As mentioned above, and shown in #3 Josef Terboven visited this event, together with other high ranking officers and officials. The result of the competition was published in several Newspapers around Norway. I also have some photos from the event, but they are not scanned yet.

This is what is written behind one of the photos:
Einsatz in Winge/Skeikampen von 14 bis 20 April 1942 von Oslo aus. Anlässlich der Polizei u. SS Skiwettkämpfe in Anwesenheit von General Daluege und Reichskomissar Terboven u.s.w

This indicates that the event took place between April 14 to April 20 1942. I will try to find the correct date. (They had this event also in 43, 44 and probably in 45 as well)

That is excellent, thanks JoeW, HSSPF & Tor for the information. Great too to see other photos of the same place. I will look up those new names and locations after work today. Cheers. I'll also post a link back in this thread when I get the rest of the pictures processed and online (50-60 of them).
