    Flak Uffz Grouping

    I recently picked up a nice small grouping of Flak Uffz Heinrich Scheu

    Apparently he was assigned to 4/ Fallschirmjaeger Rgt 6 when he was wounded.

            Nice little find. For your information, the 4th Flak Division was ordered to provide a number of Flak Kampfgruppen to deploy to Holland as part of the German Reinforcements to build up a front line prior to Market Garden (another 3 groups were sent during operation MG). I would say your Heinrich Scheu was one of those soldiers and ended up with Fsch Jgr 6 in Holland.

            Love to see the photos for another project - can you email please.

              Thank you for the additional information about the units and their participation in Market Garden, If you are thinking any of the remaining photos would be during MG...they are not....as they were obviously taken way before MG and dated between 1940 and 1942.
