    Atlantic wall visit

    I recently purchased this grouping of pictures showing the visit of the Atlantic wall by an unknown admiral wearing RK. Any information regarding these photos is appreciated. Can somebody identify any of this officers?
    Thanks

            Thank you for your comments.
            I found something about him.

            Herman von Fischel was a commander of U65 during WW1. He commanded the pocket battleship Deutschland from April 1933 through Dec 1935. He was honorable retired from the navy in Dec 1944 but was captured by the Russians and died 5 years later near Moscow as a prisoner.
            His son, Unno von Fischel, commanded the U-374 in WWII until its sinking on 12 Jan 1942. Unno and all but one of his men perished.

            The above pictures of these events coincide with its military function, which was performed at this time:

            under Admiral von Fischel, the Marinebefehlshaber Kanalkuste (admiral Commanding the Channel Coast) held full responsibility for the following services: command over the naval artillery (Marko); Seeko Seine-Somme, Seeko Pas-de-Calais, Seeko Flandre; the naval artillery groups (MAA); the Harbor Protection Flotillas; the port commands (Haka [Hafenkapitan] and Hako [Hafenkommandant]); and the various naval services for communications and supplies.

            He was never awarded a RK as I thought. Here are the awards presented to him:
            * Iron Cross (1914) II and I. class
            * Knight's Cross of the Royal House Order of Hohenzollern with swords
            * U-Boat War Badge (1918)
            * Friedrich August-Kreuz II and I. class
            * Order of the Iron Crown III. Class with the war decoration
            * Austrian Military Merit Cross III. Class with the war decoration
            * Iron Crescent
            * Spanish Cross in Gold with Swords
            * Clasp to the Iron Cross Second and First Class
            * German Cross of Gold in 25th May 1943
