Dear all,
In this way I like to ask some help.
In the last years many photo’s pop up on the internet and sometimes these were very interesting. In my pre E-bay period some nice photos were sold who are worth to be published in a nice book.
At this moment I’m working on a new book and some of the above mentioned photos are on the whish list to be used. That is the reason I will put this question on as many forums that is possible. But I start on this one because it has a special photo section.
In this way I like to trace the owners of these photos. This has 3 reasons.
1 For me it’s important to arrange the publication rights well. It’s my aim to give the future readers information where they could find the photos that are placed in the book.
2 If the owner is found it’s maybe possible to get a better scan as was placed on the internet so the result in the book will be maximised.
3 In this way we save some new photo’s for the future so that they will not be forgotten.
The photos
The first 3 scans are out of a series from around 25 photos that was sold on E-bay many years ago. These ones are made by a German Luftwaffe Propaganda Kompanie photograper Seuffert and were taken at the end of the battle in Oosterbeek. It shows British POW en German troops celebrating their victory.
The next photo shows a wreck of a German Jagdpanzer IV / L48 from the SS-Pz.Jg.Abt.9.
This photo was made in Belgium or The Netherlands. It was sold by the E-bayer jarilevi who is not active on E-bay for some years.
The last photo shows two Jagdpanzer IV’s somewhere in the Netherlands. Also sold on the E-bay but unknown by who and when.
Many thanks in advance
