Church in Golubinskaya. Prior to November 21, 1942, in the village was the headquarters commander of the 6. Army. Locals speak general Paulus visited this church. In this church his was covered by mystical feeling, he had a presentiment of failure. It is a legend!

After the war, the church abandoned and closed. I managed to take a picture through a slit in the shutter. The frescoes on the walls are preserved from the 19th century.

Orlovka. 7 miles north of the tractor plant. The fighting for Orlovka lasted 11 days (September 28 - October 8). Soviet troops were surrounded and destroyed. Defenders of Orlovka 121 people remained alive and continued to fight in the tractor factory.
