        Today is cold and icy wind knocks down, but in August 1942 was swelter and unbearable heat . The german guy needed to rise by on quite high hill to make this shot. Ahead on the east, behind hills, a crossing through Don, the last spurt and... Stalingrad!

                          Absolutely amazing photo's. How much time goes into this is incredible. You could look forever and never find the right place. WELL DONE!!
