Sometimes, this story reminds me of antique adventure, Trojan horse and the ancient heroes. How did he do it ..!? Inscrutable!
The very next day after the capture of the bridge, the ring around the 6 Army shut. Hundreds of thousands of German soldiers' lives - is doomed.

Today is cold and icy wind knocks down, but in August 1942 was swelter and unbearable heat . The german guy needed to rise by on quite high hill to make this shot. Ahead on the east, behind hills, a crossing through Don, the last spurt and... Stalingrad!
