        Hi TerryG,

Thanks for posting your card. That is a very nice and hard to come by card. I have collected these for a long time and still don't have that one! Thanks again.

I'm having problems with my Internet Explorer. These problems preclude me being able to scan card images and uploading them to my computer and then onto sites such as Wehrmacht Awards forums.

When I solve this problem, I promise to bring you many more interesting items from my collection.

                Until that time......

                Hi Ramon,
Sorry to hear you are having problems wth IE. We all have these annoying problems from time to time. I would like to thank you personally and all other contributors for posting these great cards. Thanks a million for sharing these!
I have a few I'll be posting myself.

                  AH Card

I've always found this one interesting. Somewhat surreal. Dated 1932.
Sorry but I don't have a flatbed scanner. Need to get one. Bear with me, please.

Closer in. Looks almost like a lithograph. Hard to tell from my photo though.

John, Thanks for the scan of the cards.

The RPT card by Richard Klein was one in a series of cards designed by him.

Klein was prolific and also lent his talents to the design of stamps of the time. Among the notable issues by him are the series of the Brown Ribbon horse race stamps that were isssued between the years of 1936 and 1944. Earlier in this thread I had posted a scan of my rare Brown Ribbon Race printed to private order card that bears a representation of one of his stamps (see post 119 for an illustration of this card.)

The card commemorating the Colony Exihibtion was designed by a woman,
Emmy Glintzer, the same designer who produced the Return of the Saar issue.
This card was issued in 2 types, one as you have shown above with the wording beneath the scene depicting the flag and eagle and a 2nd type with only the illustration. Further, these cards also come with imprinted Hindenburg and Hitler definitive stamps in several denominations.

                            Again, these are good cards.

                            Keep 'em coming, John.

                              Hi Ramon,
Thanks for your informative words and encouragement. I remember some years ago when a lot of these cards could be had for a dollar or two and even less! Wish I had bought more! Post 119 is great. Thanks for posting that and all the others. They are a sheer delight to look at.
