I only once ever had a "Bordellschein" which was in a Soldbuch of a soldier who was in Panzerzug 25 which I foolishly gave up years ago (wearing a Stug wrap!). I have never seen one since. It did not have a stamp on it however, but the name of the Sanitäter who did the Sanierung and the stamp of the Bordell in France. It was a criminal offence for a soldier in the German Army to come down with VD!
I'm collecting anything related to the towns Castricum and Bakkum during WWII.
Also soldbucher from 116pzdiv. And 1944-1945 eastfront pockets, kampfgruppe and Oder front. My website: Gotrick.nl
I wanted to know what this was supposed to be as I understood this to be a copy.
The next quesiton is why would someone make a fake slip like this and then stuff it into a tunic pocket.........I think I really know that answer.
When I found it I looked at it and I thought who would bother to copy something like this, and who ever did it did just that because the uper corners have the DPI that printers work off of (if you look close you can see the dots) and then the finish is glossed out which is hard for digital cam to pick up.
Then whoever did it went to great links to put an what I think is an original post stamp or something that resembles it along with the rubber stamp with a sun wheel on it which I can't make the verbiage out.
The only fact I could possibly think of, of why, is that re-encating points at shows come down to making one "win" the most original outfitting & set up by having coins, Soldbuchs and the likes in their pockets so perhaps this was used for that. And of course the most obvious is that of deception.
Is the layout similar or the same on this one to an original?
