KVK Document for Turkistan Legion?

Hi Everyone,

I have been offered this document and the unit in question concerns me. The document is filled in:

Leutnant d.R. Kurt Jung,
1.(Turk) / Bau-Pi. Btl. 87,

I thought Bau-Pi. Btl. 87 was Azerbaijani? The rest of the document looks ok, Gen. d. Art Hansen was commander of the 16. Armee at the time the piece was supposed to be awarded.

What are your thoughts on the piece? Sorry this is the only photo I have of it right now.

According to Tessin : Baupionier Btl 87 , 1. And 3. Kp. formed with volunteers Turkistan.

That's good news. The information I found was on the Axis History Forum and it said it was made up of Azerbaijani troops. I have the document in hand now and it looks fine.
