        yes, the Ferdinand had Zimmerit and the hatch is blown off and behind the vehicle. The negatives are from a soldier who was in Pz Jäger Abt. 7.

          Of course its on the ground - there is nothing worng with my eyes

          Also, if not being on the ground - and therefore blown from the tank - there will be no way it was later just pulled in the ditch, and might still be there. Have found some hatches already that way.

                A sizable chunk of metal like that hatch was worth a lira or two to a poor farmer in post war Italy..its long gone..
