Hello folks,
I collect Kriegsmarine RK winner postcards. I have too many to pick a favorite, but here are a couple of my favorites.

First up-Gunther Prien. I try to collect as many Prien cards as I can. Here are two of my favorite ones. The top card was taken right after his winning of the RK for his exploits at Scapa Flow. The latter card of Prien (wearing U-boat leather) is seen in many books, but the card is rather scarce. I am still looking for the full color example.

KM Postcards

Here are two more for now. Here is one of my favorite Doenitz cards and one of Admiral Luetjens (nice ribbon bar shot) who went down on the Bismarck.

KM RK Winners

Hi Tony,
Great cards. It is hard to beat a Prien card. Well since no one else is posting I will post another of my favorites (with a Prien connection).

Here is Engelbert Endrass. Endrass served as the 1st Officer on Prien's boat the U-47. As a matter of fact Endrass came up with the snorting bull emblem that Prien and later the flotilla used. Later Endrass became a successful commander on his own right and like Prien was lost at sea.

Prien and Endrass also had small books about their lives and deaths as part of the 1942/43 Day of the Wehrmacht series (shown below the Endrass postcard)
