Last Appeal to Reason by Adolf Hitler

I thought you might be interested in seeing this. An English transcript of Hitlers "Last Appeal to Reason" speech delivered to the Reichstag on 19 July 1940.

Can anyone say why it might have been produced in this format (4 page newspaper style) and what for. I person I got it from thought it might have been "dropped" by the Luftwaffe. Is that likely?

Can anyone throw some light on this?

James, it is indeed an airdropped leaflet. It was dropped over Southern England in summer of 1940. A a condensed version was dropped in August 1940. See here: http://www.psywar.org/product_NZUKNC05.php

Your version is fairly common as examples were raffled off for the Red Cross. Not so later leaflets dropped on Britain which are much, much rarer.
