    RAD Hierl Photos?

I have these 2 original photos which I think are Hierl. Could someone confirm that please? Thanks!

The man in the first photograph is definitely not Hierl. The man shaking his hand in the second one could be him, though. (Not sure, though.)

In fact the middle man in the 2nd photo shaking hands is the same man in the first photo.

No; couldn't be Hierl. Notice that the man is wearing the sleeve badge for Arbeitsgau XV (and the corresponding traditions badge on his cap).
Hierl, as head of the entire RAD would not have worn insignia for a regional organizational level.

Monty is right, too: The man from the first photo is the middle one in the second, shaking yet another man's hand. (I should have looked closer.)

          Anyway, no Hierl.

Damn, it really looked like Hierl. Notice that he don't wear two pips on his shoulder as Reichsarbeitsführer, he's a Generalarbeitsführer. The first photo really really looks like Hierl but as you say he's wearing insignia for Arbeitsgau XV. He really looked like him on that photo, but i didn't notice the Arbeitsgau sleeve on his arm.

The man in the photo is a Generalarbeitsführer in Arbeitsgau XV.

The commander of Arbeitsgau XV was Obergeneralarbeitsführer Karl Wilhelm von Alten, maybe these pics were taken before his promotion?

really good photo of the Anhalt Labor badge too!
Any relation to the Hanovarian Von Altens.... of Waterloo fame?

Definitely Viktor v Alten. Both Hierl and v Alten wore the AAD Erinnerabzeichen in gold but Hierl pinned his below the EKI whereas v Alten pinned his to the right in between his EKI and what looked like the Braunschweig Ernst August Cross.

Also nice Sachsen Abeitsgau Traditions Mützenabzeichen -- see Angola and Litteljohn PP391

                      Cheers
