    I found a Tiger in Sicily...

    ..no, no...it is a joke, but....but...with the help of my friend Lorenzo and Mr. Gianni Iacono...I found a perfect location

      The location is the village of Acate (see map below)

        This is the photo by NARA. In January 1944 (from summer 1943) the Tiger was still here!!!

                It's the same picture only with a pulled back view. Note man in door/alley way on left and pigeon on the righ next to tank.

                  Yes I know that is the same photo...but this don't change nothing: the Tiger was destroyed in july...and in january 1944 was in the same place. This was my concept.

                    I found a Tiger in Sicily...

                    Hello,

                    Nice photo and map. Appears that Acate was a road artery to San Pietro. Probably why the Tiger was there.

                    My uncle was also there - with the Texas 36th Div., 143rd Rgt., B Co. He said it was a hell of a place. Replacements marching up and mules carrying the dead down to the valley below.
