    Hitler in WWI and visiting Berchtesgaden

    Hello Guys,

    out of the woodwork, I got several fotos from one family.
    As you can see, there are 5 fotos of Hitler visiting Berchtesgaden and
    two postcards "Hitler im Felde".

    One postcard is written:
    "Mit Adolf Hitler im Feld beim bayr. RIR 16 (List) v. 19.11.14 bis 29.08.1915.
    Uns war Adolf Hitler kein unbekannter Soldat, sondern ein treuer, sich für jeden aufopfernder Kamerad. 16.12.37"

    Now the "holy grail" - the original foto of Hitler and his men in WWI.
    The following three pictures show the man, who served with Hitler.

    I hope someone can tell something about this pictures, maybe about the value, too (I don´t collect fotos, so I´m no expert here )

    Wow this is very nice!
    I do not collect NSDAP or Hitler things but i find this very nice and interresting
    I'm collecting anything related to the towns Castricum and Bakkum during WWII.
    Also soldbucher from 116pzdiv. And 1944-1945 eastfront pockets, kampfgruppe and Oder front.

      That photo does seem a little bit "Holy Grail-ish" to me as well.
      Please be aware of scammers trying to buy that off you cheap. It could be worth some $$$.
      Show to a militaria or photo auction house, IMHO. Get several estimates.
      Good luck,
      Jp

        Now I got new information about the original photo from 1915:

        "Eine Aufnahme von Hans Bauer(?) - Hitler mit seinen Kameraden, Sept. 1915 in der Nähe der Rgts.Bef.Stelle in Frommelles.
        Untere Reihe v.l.: Adolf Hitler, Josef Wurm, Karl Lippert, Josef Kreidmayer;
        oberer Reihe v.l.: Karl Lanzhammer, Ernst Schmidt, Jakob Höfele, Jakob Weiß;
        ganz oben mittig: Karl Tiefenböck.

        Quelle(n):
        Anton Joachimsthaler, "Hitler in München 1908-1920"
        bzw.
        A. Joachimsthaler, "Korrektur einer Biographie" Adolf Hitler 1908-1920,
