    EK2 Document, Afrika 1942

    Hi Guys,

I hope this is the right place to post this...

I have an EK2 award document and I am trying to find out who's signature is on the document. The stamp is not readible. But........

Under the gefreiten's name, it says:

    Gr.Betr.Stoff.Kol.9/200

The document is signed by a Generalmajor and is signed on Afrika, den 20 april, 1942

Now I have searched Lexikon as far as I could but I give up. I will try to upload a picture tommorow.

    Thanks in advance

    Bob

Georg von Bismarck, commander of the 21 Pz.Div.

You can make out 21 Panzer Div on the stamp too.

Thanks very much. But you are saying that you can make out the stamp? Cause I am looking at the stamp as I am wrighting this and I would never have guessed it to be 21st pz.div.?

Aye, it says 21st Pz Div - the stamp looks to of been pressed down twice with a slight movement between the two stampings leaving a sort of 'shadow' of the numbers and the smudged letters.

Then I still have another question? How is this to be explained:

            Gr.Betr.Stoff.Kol.9/200

            Which unit is it..?

            thanks in advance.
