You can just imagine the clerk typing up the KvK citation seeing the recipients unit and thinking "I'll be abbreviating that one!"

From what I understand the H.U.V's were a type of Army accomodation/lodgings management unit.
The second citation is the signature of Hans von Kluge but it might be a stamped/facsimile signature rather than hand signed. Without a better photo I'm not 100% on that.

hucks is right. Perhaps he got his KVK for being the fastest blanket stacker in the East

The von Kluge sig is indeed stamped, the major on the staff of the 35 ID i've no idea.

thinking about it, he might have been something like an officers mess waiter at the accommodation being used at the time by the staff of the 35 ID
