      Funny you asked, I just spoke to my Aunt in germany. This would be his neice.

      They still live in the same house in germany.
      She was about 10 at the end of the war and recalls that Wilhelm was nervious
      at the end of the war. So he put all his stuff together and cemented it in a hole in the cellar wall. I told her to find it! but she is almost 70 now so I dont think anything will come of it..
      Ill have to look myself next visit.

                Spooky! It is the same handwriting as well IMO, so written/sent by the same person to the same person. Look at the peculiar way to encircle the word Feldpost on top of the letter.

                Different division stamp though. I am curious!

                  Definitely the same pair of correspondents, I agree!

                  It does not surprise me if two collectors share one estate, but in this case George being a relative and Eric being a collector... Would love to hear more stories...

                      Emma was His wife..I have several feldpost envelope as you have above, without the SS.
