    SS-general's signature, but who??

I have a silver wound badge citation that was given to me by a friend before he passed away 12 years ago. He got it while he was hospitalized in Krakau in 1944. I have always wondered who the signature belonged to. Can anyone help?

His title should make it easy, but I haven't managed to find any match!

It is very rare to have a wound badge citation signed by a general. Normally they were signed by the chief doctor in the hospital where the soldier was being treated. It is also unusual that the citation would be issued from Berlin if the man was hospitalised in Krakow.

          Rare or not real?

First of all, thanks for the help! Jüttner looks very right! I will save the info with the document.

"Rare" as in one of a kind or "rare" as in unlikely? There are no doubts in regards to the authenticity in my mind, since I knew him well. I think he was wounded for the third time (when he got the silver wound badge) in Tjerkassy. (Let me know if that makes sense!). I am unsure about the circumstances that lead to it, but they might have been connected (Tjerkassy wound and signature!). He later tallied in two more wounds, but never got the gold badge. He also gave me the paperwork from his trip from Krakau back to Division. This took place 16 March, but the citation is dated 1. May and his Dienststelle is stated as SS-Lazarett Krakau. Might have been wounded once again? Maybe this is of interest? The last picture displayed shows him in uniform. Note the strange jacket devoid of pockets!

            Bergflak.

I said it was rare. I'm not questioning its authenticity!
