It's ironic to think that Norway's railway network only goes as far north as it does today because of the Germans (and the slave labour they used it must be said)

Any idea who the person is that has an arrow pointing to him in pic #1? He is wearing a visor cap for an unknown organisation?

He is a member og Nasjonal Samling (NS).

I belive the person in the picture is the Mayor of Nordland. In Norwegian - "Fylkesordføreren i Nordland"

Greetings, Tore! Long time no speak.

As always, superb pics. "Familiar face" in #3 pic was RKT Franek, new Kmdr of 196 ID. He could also be spotted in #1 and #2 pic together with his superior Georg Brandt, Kmdr HöhKmdo zbV XXXIII. These pics were therefore taken in March to April 1942.

Cannot figure out who it was between v Falkenhorst and Franek in #3 pic yet.
