I would like to show you a photo i got today, as a gift when i purchased my other photo posted just not long ago...anyway this photo has no maker of the photo like Agfa or anything, and could this be real ? the back of it is just plain...size is 16.5cm x 12.5cm

I read that the reverse is plain, but please post it. And what the UV test says?

I'm not the great specialist in the photos (now learning this theme), but the obverse not look good for me. 50/50. IMHO.

P.S. Wait for the answers of the people that have much more experience...

Still my IMHO is: 50/50. I don't like the obverse... This is exactly such instance when you need to take the photo in your hands to detect originality. You should do UV test. But UV test detects only initial level fakes. Wait for answers of the people with much more experience...

I would also say that it is most probably post-war. Dido Diddens survived the war and was quite active after the war. He met with many military authors and collectors and often gave prints of his photos.

I think it is a post war print too, actually i just tested it with UV and it glows...so anyway but as i mentioned it was a nice gesture from a fellow forum member, i purchased a photo and as a gift i got this as well,...looks good anyway.
