    German Cemetery Channel Islands

    The cemetery once located at Saint Brelades Church, in 1943 the Dutch cargo ship SS Schokland foundered close to the southern shore of Jersey CI, with 200-250 soldiers on board going on leave to Saint Malo.

    The 221 graves were moved in 1960 , by the Volksbund Deutsche Kriegsgraberfursorge and re-buried in the Military Cemetery, Mont de Huisnes, Manche,France.
