    Unit/tactical marking

Hello! I would appreciate any background information regarding this marking. Any thoughts for what this (unit?) marking stands for?

It is an Artillery tactical symbol.

Not familiar with this exact meaning but I think it must be a headquarters vehicle for the 1st battery of some arty regiment??

How about a mountain gun company or mountain artillery unit.
The men in the photo are Gebirgsjager.

I would say first battery, artillery.
I'm collecting anything related to the towns Castricum and Bakkum during WWII.
Also soldbucher from 116pzdiv. And 1944-1945 eastfront pockets, kampfgruppe and Oder front.

A vehicle belonging to the I abteilung of a gebirgsartillerie regiment.

If you know anything more about the photo or if there are others you should be able to narrow it down as to which regiment.
Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.
