Thanks guys! I wish Tom (Kriegcards) would list all the cards he brought to the show!! I'm sure even Hitler laughed...

Here is another Hoffmann postcard of Hitler. It is the earlier version before they removed the other fellow from the photograph. I wonder why? He was Hitler's cook and the reverse side of the card refers to him as Proviantmeister Kannenberg.

I thought this would be an interesting addition to your card.

At first I thought they were the same photo but they are taken from different angles. It would be interesting to
know if the cook was removed or never in the photo to begin with. Are the edges straight or "scalloped" ?

Yes, I agree. It does look like the camera angle is very slightly different. So it would be a different photo and the cook could have just got up and walked away for this one. That explains the mystery.

The edges of my card are "scalloped". Are they from the same series?
