I apologize if this is the wrong thread although I couldn't find a more appropriate one; but I was wondering, "what does it say"? I can sometimes read this kind of handwriting, and often German, yet never combined. A shame with all the Feldpost I have here somewhere...

Anyway, can anyone see exactly what it says?

Isn't it great to possess personalized and signed books by people of historical significance! How awesome to show to young people if I survive into old age: "I was not only then but there!"
