    identify any of these SS Untersturmführer ?

    I was wondering if anyone could identify any of these SS Untersturmführer ?

    They are from an album which shows a sporting event for wounded and amputee soldiers, there are also some shots from the hospital itself. The placenames in the album include Rakwitz and Schlieffenwalde (Poland) if that helps.

    The pictures are not in the best of condition and have seen better days.

    Any info on them would be helpful. Also anything on the locations from the rest of the album would be useful too ;

      don't know their names, but the blank collar patch on the officer on the right would make him a member of the SD, narrows it down a bit I suppose. "Old fighters chevron" on the sleeve of the other officer would place him with members of the SS who joined before January 30'th 1933.

        The chap on the right is also wearing a dagger and knot.

        This was allowed to be worn with the field grey uniform after February 13th 1943 so I would presume this photo is after this date?

        Regards,
        Chris.

          Thanks for checking. I really don't have a clear date for it (beyond what's been added to the thread) - the pictures are glued in the album, it's incomplete and damaged & nothing really stood out to me that would help narrow the date down. Thanks again for the info.
