I've been spending a lot of time going through archival photos. What strikes me is I've actually come across photos that were used in propaganda photos used for the eastern units. Here's an example. It's an eastern peoples recruitment poster.

The actual photo, taken from the bpk archives, is of an ukrainian volunteer.
I thought it might be an interesting thread to see if anyone else has come across similar examples. -
Nice observation, I know this kind of findings result only from years of serious interest.
The photo is very interesting to me also not because of the use in a poster but the arm shield.
