    Polizei Bekleidungsvorschrift 1936

    I wanted to share with you the latest addition to my Polizei Vorschriften collection:

    This is the 2nd part of the 1936 issue of the Polizei Bekleidungsvorschrift.

    Of the bekleidungsvorschrift I also have the 1938 edition of the 1st part, 1940 edition of the 2nd part and 1939 edition of the 3rd part. (next to that I have many other Polizeidienstvorschriften



    I hope to be able to add to my collection in the future. (anyone know where I could find polizei-regulations )

    Congratulations! So many "nagging collector questions" have the answers sitting right there in period print, just waiting to be found!

    Of course, the tricky bit IS finding these period sources!

      What does it look like inside? Same as a Heer ranklist?

        I do not know the contents of the Heer-Ranklists.

        This book is all regulation. Index at the front, regulations, and a subject-index at the back.
        This one is especially nice as it was the first issue to contain/describe/order the new clothing regulations for the Polizei in 1936.
        Changes where ordered in the Ministrialblat (and had to be pasted into the book)and in this one these changes are abundant. Every change is numbered and can be tracked as to which year it was ordered.

        This is the second part of the Bekleidungsvorschrift dealing. Subject: Verwaltungsvorschrift (ie who was to get what clothing, from which depot. How much cloth went into making a tunic, cap, breeches etc. How new clothing was to be ordered, how sizes had to be recorded.....etc)

        now all I need to do is find the first part of the 1936 issue..............anyone?
