Late war picture, what is this patch?

This picture looks late war to me, but no date what so ever.
Can anyone ID the patch on his arm, above his rank stripes?

I'm collecting anything related to the towns Castricum and Bakkum during WWII.
Also soldbucher from 116pzdiv. And 1944-1945 eastfront pockets, kampfgruppe and Oder front.

I'm not seeing cufftitle, even with magnifying glass to monitor. Maybe a more high res shot would help.
Rick, I think I see what you're talking about but then my eyes get all pixillated, if that's a term.

Thanks guys, thats the thing i mean
I'll try to find a magnifying glass here and look into the picture itself.
My scanner ain't the best itself, its very old.. so i probally see more in the original picture.

Correct - would be on the wrong arm (for fieldgendarmerie) anyway

Hehe, thanks guys. I couldnĀ“t find a magnifying glass, but looking at the original pic myself i couldnĀ“t really see a cuff.

I just saw this topic: http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=407616
Could it be such a Steuermann patch?

What about the German Customs Police?

The Landzoll wore the edelweiss patch on the left sleeve.

Though I don't see the cuff title on the left arm.

Can you get a better enlargement of the collars?

No, never mind I just noticed the breast eagle.

I don't think the Landzoll wore them on their tunics though I could be wrong.
