    Hello,

    I also have this photo in my collection and I would like to know what kind of insigna is visible on the headgear.

    As he's lacking a cap eagle insignia it makes me think it's post-May '45. Perhaps connected to the early GMSA?
    Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.
