    Album help please

    Hi

Here is an album that is falling apart but looks to have some nice pictures. The problem is I am a novice with regards to pictures and get confused between original period pictures and original period mass produced prints(hope this makes sense)
Here are a few of the pictures from the album.
Some of the pages are annoted and here are some examples.
    "Detmold Senne 1931"
    "Paderborn IR18 1931"
    "Munster"

    Any help would be appreciated

    thanks
    andy

The written word "Senne 1936" could be the name of a German military training camp called "Senne - Lager"

Also "Munster" can indicate a military training camp called "Munster - Lager":

Hermann Sieötter is named on the left photo (mit Frau/with his wife) as KIA in Russia. I found his name in the list of the Volksbund.

Hauptmann/Major Strehle was Kp. Chef of 13/Inf.Rgt. 79 in January 1939.

One of the photos also shows Reiterzug, Inf.Rgt. 79....the following link shows this Regiment, although in German you should be able to get the locations.....

                              http://www.lexikon-der-wehrmacht.de/...enter/IR79.htm

Basically the Regiment was formed 1.4.1936 with I. Battailon in Duisburg, Wehrkreis VI, II. Btl. in Bochum and III. Btl. in Wesel. 6.10.1936 I. Btl. was renamed III. Btl. and transferred to Rheine with II. Btl. being transferred to Münster.
Autumn 1938 I. Ergänzungs Battailon (Reserve Training) was formed at the Troop Training Area Senne (Senne-Lager).
