Richard, The signature is not what I would want to see....too much of difference that can't be explained away IMO (when compared to the Feldpost letter alluded to here but hopefully not shown for obvious reasons.)

Even if one buy's into the signatures in the Grp. the stamp is a fake.
The Peiper book by Agte on pg 645 shows what the stamp should look like.(IMO)

Wittmann signatures certainly do raise the interest level, no mistake.

I do have the Agte book on Peiper and I will have a look at the stamp on page 645 and I shall check it later.


The guest book complete with Peiper signature with unit designation alluded to on this thread is what I would expect a guest book to look like. I do not think anyone will be disagreeing with that signature.
