    Hitler Signature - Original?

    Hello,
My friend in the former Reichenberg bought this from an older gentleman from Frydlant who claimed he got this signed when Hitler came through his town in 1938 shortly after the annexation of the Sudetenland. Neither my friend nor I are the least bit knowledgeable of signatures, so I'm asking for any assistance anyone here can give. These are the only pictures I have. Hope they're good enough.
    Thank you,
    Dale

Certainly doesn't look the same. Thanks!

By the way. Curious the evolution of Hitler's signature... It evolved with his mood and health as the collapse of the III Reich was near.

The most interesting thing to me about this item is not the fake signature but the card itself.

The Exner portrait is generally seen as Hoffmann imprinted card. This publisher while known to me for other postcards is a new one for this design.

I'd love to see this card in person for further examination. If genuine, it's a moderately valuable item in and of itself. Again, the signature itself is rubbish. The card would be more valuable if the ersatz signature was erased.

                          Ramon and others,
Thanks for the help. Aside from the signature, the card looked original, but paper is not my specialty. I'll ask my friend in Liberec what he wants to do with it, and if he wants to sell it, what price he wants. But it'll have to wait until I go back to Liberec to pick it up if anyone wants it in hand.
