    Kassel finds 02

Here we have my second group find at Kassel, also he was a TDB holder.

Our soldier start as millions more do it, just doing his duty and so rewards started to appear in his chest...

Unafortunately on September 14, 1.941 he suffered a close encounter with a piece of soviet metal and he spent sometime as a guest of the Kriegsmarine in Riga where he received this little paper.

    Check the lack of stamp

When situation becomes hot and someone must give a pass ahead, he did it and so he was rewarded.

It tooks more than a year to receive his well won medal, but at the end arrived (maybe his EK II was also connected with this).

On February 11th he used a Faustpatrone to destroy a T 34 so he could now wore proudly the small black and silver strip that tell everyone what he did.

The enemy also fought and so our proud soldier was wounded several times and, as you can see, the day he destroyed the T 34 he was wounded, who knows maybe during the attack on the monster steel.

This is the first time I finally get to see a few documents which are related to the assault on the Baltic Islands by I.R.151! And it seems like the soldier was wounded from the first day already. Great grouping, Angel. Congratulations

The soldiers girl/wife is very proud of him. You can see it in the way she looks at him at the time of the photo. Ammersee
