Tankhunter and Knights cross winner: Werner Wrangel

down you can see a very rare private Studio photo of Werner Wrangel!
Masterpiece photo! Very early signed!
Signed on 06.March 1943 only a few weeks after he get he knights cross!
Wrangel was a tankhunter and he get the knights cross as normal soldier.
rank:"Gefreiter". Wrangel was KIA 1945!

I've always admired the "ordinary soldiers" that received the Knights Cross, those who received the award because of combat deeds rather than others who won the KC for planning sucessful military operations. Nice Photo Ralf,
