    Group Portrait - Italian Camouflage...

I have just purchased this "Italian Camouflage" Group Portrait for a good friend of mine. Not often do you find formal, studio portraits of individual soldiers wearing Italian Camo, let alone four of them pictured at once. The photo itself has seen better days condition-wise, but it's still quite an impressive photo...

Any / all comments are welcome...

    Enjoy...

Very nice photo. Thanks for posting. Are they self-propelled artillery crew?

      Thankx, Anil.

I honestly do not know if they are from a Self-Propelled Crew or not...the reverse of the photo is (unfortunately) not marked or dated in any way, and as you can see, no insignia is sewn on either the tunics or headgear. It is also quite difficult to determine if their belt buckles are Luftwaffe or Wehrmacht.

Whichever Arm of Service they were with, indeed it is very likely that they were members of a 4 man crew or team of some sort....

I just received some late information in regards to this photo - it looks to have been part of a (broken up) paper / photo grouping from a member who crewed an Italian Semovente Assault Gun...
