Dear collecting colleagues,

I recently picked up a small, non-matching grouping at a bargain price. It came with the following photograph of a KC recipient who I can not seem to identify properly. Hence, I would like you to ponder over this.
Also, would this be part of a series or is this a private shot? Even though I can not recall to have seen it before, that does not mean it could not have been part of a mass-produced series. The dimensions are 95 * 70 mm.

And what about this Officer? Due to possible use in an upcomming publication, I am reluctant of posting the entire picture. Hence, only the relevant is shown here.
I did my best at deciphering the Sütterlin writing on the back, but I did came up empty-handend concerning the name...
