Questions about a Waffen-SS color photo

Hi all,

I'd like to find out more about the provenance of the attached photo (source). I believe this to be a period Agfacolor-Neu slide and likely taken by an SS-Kriegsberichter.

I first came across this photo in a German magazine from the 1970s but have been unable to find any wartime publications that included it.

Information on provenance, the photographer, and publications (wartime as well as postwar) would be greatly appreciated!

It appeared in "Die Wehrmacht" but I can't tell you which issue because all my books are packed away in readiness for a move.

Anyone else ?

Thanks John! I just heard from a fellow WAF member that the photo at least wasn't published on any of the back covers of Die Wehrmacht (Ausgabe A). Do you remember if it was included on one of the inner pages instead? Or could it possibly have been another magazine?
