    Help with signature on EK II document

    Before posting this EK II document on the e-stand, could you please confirm that the signature is from Generalleutnant Willibald Utz?
    I guess so but would like to be sure.

      Yes, that's correct, it's Utz.

          I prefered to ask because when checking the names of the commanding officers of the 100 Jäger Division listed on the lexicon der Wehrmacht I noticed what is probably a mistake with the dates for Utz and Kreppel.

          6. Juli 1942 Generalleutnant Werner Sanne
          25. April 1943 Generalleutnant Willibald Utz
          1. Januar 1943 Generalmajor Hans Kreppel

          Usually, April 1943 comes after Januar 1943.

          Any idea of the right chronology?

            He commanded the division from 25 April 43 until 1 Jan '45. Kreppel took over on that date until the end of January so the typo is in the year.

                Yes it´s Utz - here´s mine EK II document (note unit ) for comparison- also signed by Utz ..
