Gentlemen,

I think I may have got more than I bargained for with this RPPC.

I strongly suspect the kuk officer on the right is none other than a young (at least 34 in this picture) General der Waffen-SS Artur Phleps during the Great War. Wikipedia.

I'd be very interested in your opinions.

he was much higher ranking officer during ww1

Hi nice pic,Phleps had big ears as has this man,by 1918 was a Lt Col.
There is a close resemblance.
